Since coming across Graham Hancock’s “Lords of Poverty” in the lobby of the Hilton the other day, I had had a nagging feeling – not just about staying at the Hilton, but about Graham Hancock. The name rang a bell … I was thinking pyramids, nazca lines, atlantis. As one does.
A quick look on Amazon reveals that said Hancock – minus the unfortunate change of name – is indeed:

If the Hancock’s are one and the same, I’m pretty impressed by the span of the bloke’s interests and am intrigued as to where and how they overlap – they always do! I’m wondering whether he wrote Lords of Poverty while staying at the Addis Hilton researching “The sign and the seal”, or whether there’s more to it than that …
